Summary
Blizzard recently made a minor change to Venture’s presentation inOverwatch 2that wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes, but still caught the attention of fans. Venture is the newest Damage hero added to theOverwatch 2roster. Added as part of the game’s big Season 10 update, Venture has proven to be fairly popular among DPS players, with many enjoying their unique kit.
That doesn’t mean Venture has been without their critics, though. ManyOverwatch 2fans have complained thatVenture does not have much in the way of impressive skins, while others find it frustrating to fight against them and want to see Blizzard nerf the character. Whether one wants Venture to get more cosmetics or get nerfed, Blizzard has made one change to Venture in the latest update, but it wasn’t mentioned in the update patch notes.
Overwatch 2’s recent Season 12 update addednew Support hero Junoto the game, introduced the fast-paced Clash game mode, and made some balance tweaks to existing heroes. Venture was largely ignored by the Season 12 update, but Blizzard did change their pose in the hero gallery. This change was pointed out by Reddit user MxieValez in a post that has earned over 1,000 upvotes at the time of this writing. As seen in the post, Venture’s original pose shows them facing the camera head-on, while the new pose has them at more of an angle. Why Blizzard decided to make this random change to Venture is unclear.
Overwatch 2 Changed Venture’s Hero Gallery Pose
SomeOverwatch 2fans may be amused by this Venture change, but others may be anxious for something more substantial, like new skins. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any major newVenture skinsare going to come toOverwatch 2at any point in the near future. Blizzard has teased that a new Venture skin is coming in Season 14, but that is two seasons from now.
Overwatch 2Season 12 just started and has many more weeks to go before it’s over. Between theClash game modeand Juno, there’s a lot forOverwatch 2fans to check out when it comes to Season 12. It remains to be seen what Season 13 has in store, but it’s likely that a new Tank hero will join the hero-shooter’s roster as part of Season 14, if the established pattern holds. For now,Overwatch 2Venture fans will have to be happy with the hero’s current crop of cosmetics.
