The latest such postponement occurred in October 2023, whenKinetic Games indefinitely delayed the console versions ofPhasmophobiadue to some “unforeseen challenges” stemming from a fire at its offices. Nine months later, the British studio finally announced a new release window for the game’s PlayStation and Xbox ports, committing to launching them as part of its upcoming Halloween 2024 event.

Although no specific release date has been given, Kinetic Games historically started such in-game promos early. E.g., last year’s event kicked off on October 26, five days ahead of Halloween itself, having started with the release ofPhasmophobiaupdate0.9.1.0. Meanwhile, the 2022 edition of the in-game event started on October 7. Its 2024 follow-up is hence likely to debut sometime in October.

Phasmophobia Won’t Be Coming to Xbox Game Pass Anytime Soon
