In fact, the latest word from insiders is that anewBloodborneproject is not in any stage of development right now.

It’s entirely possible thatBloodbornewill get a remaster or something somewhere down the line, but that remains to be seen.Demon’s Soulsreceived a remake 11 years after its launch, after all. And if not a remake or a remaster,a port ofBloodborneto newer platformswould still be enough to excite the community, especially those that game exclusively on PC and haven’t had the chance to play the game yet.
Sony has made a concerted effort to port its PlayStation exclusives to PC. Considering the incredible demand for aBloodbornePC port, it’s somewhat puzzling that the game has yet to make the jump. PC gamers can keep their fingers crossed, though at the same time, they may want to keep their expectations in check. Those on PS5, meanwhile, can still playBloodborneon their platform of choice, even if it doesn’t take full advantage of the beefier hardware.Bloodborneis playable on PS5 thanks to the console’s backward compatibility with PS4, so while it’s a shame that the game hasn’t gotten a proper upgrade, it’s nice that it’s still readily available on the latest PlayStation console.
