Now a Reddit user by the handle of Temporary_Secret_515 has joined in on the Pokemon-merging fun by sharing an inspired fusion of the iconic Mega Charizard X and Generation 2’s Scyther evolution Scizor. Named “Charizor,” this Steel/Fire hybrid largelyretains Scizor’s overall design, except with its wings removed, its usual red color scheme replaced by Mega Charizard X’s black-and-blue hues, and a pair of dragon-head gauntlets where the Pincer Pokemon’s claws would be. Some other Reddit users are impressed with this creation, even stating that it would be a great fit for the species-crossing fan gamePokemon Infinite Fusion.
Fanmade Pokemon Fusion Merges Mega Charizard X with Scizor
Both Pokemon used to create Charizor have their roots in the original Generation 1 line-up, albeit as new evolutions that were introduced in laterPokemongames. Charizard is the final evolution of the classic Fire-type starter Charmander, and it was one of thefirst Pokemon to receive a Mega Evolutionwhen the mechanic was introduced inPokémon X and Y. Meanwhile, Scizor is the evolved form of Scyther, gaining a powerful Bug/Steel-type form if it is traded while in possession of a Metal Coat item fromPokemon Gold and Silveronward.
