Reddit user AwardSignal has posted their weakest mega-evolved Pokemon to thePokemon GOsubreddit. When AwardSignal activatedMega Aerodactyl, the monster’s Combat Power (CP) clocked in at a paltry 57, marking one of the lowest possible stats for the Gen 1 Rock and Flying type. The humorous feat was achieved when the trainer managed to catch an Aerodactyl with an extremely low CP before applying the 200 Mega Energy required to gain its more powerful evolution.

Some of the replies to the original post include trainers sharing their mega-evolved creatures with equally low CP values including a shiny Mega Altaria with 40CP, a Mega Blastoise clocking in at 52CP, and a Mega Sableye with a 24CP. One of the replies jokingly welcomes AwardSignal into a niche group of players who actively search for the lowest CP for Mega Evolutions.
