Pokemon GOhas a lot of exciting things coming up in the near future. In addition to new Galar Pokemon,Pokemon GOis finally getting its first Dynamaxing Pokemon, adding a group of starters and others that will be able to change into the huge forms in Max Battles. While there are some questions among fans about how it will be work, even those who aren’t interested in Dynamaxing might be excited to learn about the newest Pokemon coming to the title.
Pokemon GO’s social media has teased a new Pokemon coming to the game with a “Who’s That Pokemon?"-style teaser. The teaser states that players might miss the Pokemon if the blink, due to its incredibly high speeds, and has a cutout of Dreepy. Nothing further was detailed or revealed about the Pokemon’s addition, though fans were quick to identify Dreepy and share their excitement for the new Pokemon coming to the game. Dreepy will arrive in the game on September 3 at 10 am.
Pokemon GO Dreepy Details
Pokemon GOis highlighting Dreepy in advance of its release, but some things are already known about how it will work. In a recent post on the official site,Pokemon GOrevealed that Dreepy and its evolutions Drakloak and Dragapult will be available in the game. Dreepy can be found in 10KM eggs. In addition, evolving Dreepy will require 25 Dreepy Candy, and evolving Drakloak into Dragapult will take another 100 Dreepy Candy.
While fans seem to be excited about the addition of Dreepy, some expressed disappointment that there are seemingly no plans yet for a Shiny form of the Pokemon in the game. This is likely to change in the future, but for now,Pokemon GOhas revealed that Skwovet, Wooloo, and theGalarian versions of Meowth, Ponyta, Slowpoke, Farfetch’d, Zigzagoon, Darumaka, Yamask, and Stunfisk are the only ones that are being added that have a possibility of being Shiny.
In addition to new Pokemon and Dynamax,Pokemon GOwill also be refreshing the Battle League PvP mode and adding new Special Research and Timed Research. These additions will arrive shortly after opportunities tounlock free Ultra Beasts inPokemon GOwere added in order to make up for one of the most recent Pokemon GO Fests. The event had a bug that prevented some of the Pokemon from having the background they were expected to. Players have hundreds of days to complete this make-up opportunity, but even in the present, there seems to be plenty to be excited about inPokemon GO.
