Black Swan also mentions that not evenAkivili the Trailblaze, the Aeon known for discovering unknown frontiers, has reached this world. Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed thatHonkai: Star Railwill soon travel to Amphoreus, avid fans can safely assume that the Trailblazer is headed there soon.

Each ofHonkai: Star Rail’s worlds are based on specific aesthetics and cultures. According to leaks, the fourth world will reportedly be inspired by Greece and Rome, and said to haveThermae-inspired elements. Thermae is an ancient Greek and Roman hot spring that people used for bathing, which might mean thatHonkai: Star Railfans will possibly see many bodies of water in the next world.

Likewise, Amphoreus also refers to a type of container that ancient Greeks used to hold gallons of water. Its Japanese name, “onparosu,” also means “omphalos,” a religious stone artifact that represents the Earth’s core in ancient Greek. The core is the hottest part of the planet, which matches the rumor that the fourth world is going to be Thermae-inspired.

Rumored Character and Character Origins

Honkai: Star Railleaks have revealed one character from the upcoming fourth world, and that is Aglaea, a rumored 5-star Ice-type Destruction character. The leaked character appears to be wearing a Greek-inspired outfit that’s similar to a toga. In Greek mythology, Aglaea is also known as the goddess of beauty, splendor, glory, and adornment, and is the wife of Hephaestus. It’s likely that the new characters and enemies in the fourth world will be named after characters in Greek and Roman myths.

If rumors are true, Aglaea might be the first 5-star banner character forHonkai: Star RailVersion 3.0.

There’s also speculation that Amphoreus may be Dr. Ratio’s home planet because of his Greek and Roman-inspired appearance. Apart from being a member of the Intelligentsia Guild,Honkai: Star Rail’s database lists Dr. Ratiounder “Cosmic,” meaning his origins are still unknown. Meanwhile, some fans also think that Himeko might also be from the Thermae-inspired world because her outfit looks similar to Dr. Ratio.

Possible New Gameplay Mechanics

There are rumors that thenextHonkai: Star Railworld might introduce a time-based gimmick. It’s still unknown how this mechanic might work, but it’s possible thatHonkai: Star Railmight evoke the power of the Chronos, also known as the Greek god of time, in this world. Chronos is a powerful titan that can manipulate time, which can be an interesting mechanic that both playable characters and enemies can utilize. A great representation of this power can be seen inHades 2’s final boss battle, where Chronos can stop Melinoe from her tracks and even prevent the players from pausing the game.

Possible New Path

Honkai: Star Railcurrently has seven playable Paths, while the others can only be accessed in the Simulated Universe. One rumor claims that the next world might introduce anew Trailblazer Path known as Remembrance, which is mostly known for its freezing abilities in the Simulated Universe. Because of this, it’s also possible that the next Trailblazer form will be an Ice-type unit. Future playable characters might also wield freezing abilities, but Remembrance puts the spotlight on reducing Effect RES as well, so it would be interesting to see how this rumored Path will shift the meta in the future.
