Dead by Daylight’s Lights Out mode may be coming back in September 2024. WithDead by Daylightintroducing many experimental celebrations, events, and modifiers over the years, it’s not a surprise that some fans have taken a liking to a few of them. While many of these modes and events are only available for a limited time, there are quite a few that have made a regular appearance throughout each season.
The most recent mode that a lot of fans were able to experience was the much-requested2v8 mode inDead by Daylight. This modifier saw two killers face off against eight survivors. What Should Fans Expect When Lights Out Comes Back?
However, according to dvveet’s information, there will be a slight change if the modifier returns in September. The return of Lights Out will see players gain access to a lantern which Survivors can place near generators, most likely to add more luminance. In turn, Killers will be able to knock down said lanterns. In addition, dvveet has confirmed that many of the previous modifiers will be returning, including 2v8 and Chaos Shuffle. With Lights Out being the mode that really started to experiment with how to change gameplay, it’s interesting that Behaviour will also be improving and testing out newevents inDead by Daylight.
