Olsen’s return as Scarlet WitchinVisionis a possibility, but she might not make a lengthy appearance in the series. In a 2023 interview withThe Times, she said that her only project in the last four years was Marvel and she didn’t want to be caged in her MCU character. Olsen hoped to make more films. She clarified, however, that she didn’t mean she no longer wanted to be associated with Scarlet Witch; she just wanted to balance her career.

Olsen said:

I really feel like I need to be building other parts back up for balance. I so much want to do films right now. And I hope some of them come together in the way I feel like they can. But yeah, that’s something that I need. I just need more, other characters in my life. There’s no longevity in one character.

Scarlet Witch and Vision have an epic love story.Visionis deemed the third part of a trilogy that includesWandaVisionandAgatha All Along, perThe Hollywood Reporter. Scarlet Witch’s story in WandaVision continued in theDoctor Strangesequel. She vanished inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessandVisioncould set her reunion with the vibranium-based male android, whom Ultron created to be his body. The duo could work together to beat Ultron.

Wanda and Vision didn’t just fall in love with each other. The two were always emotionally connected becausethe Infinity Stone– Mind Stone – intertwined them. When Wanda was a child, Hydra took her and experimented with her using the Mind Stone in Loki’s scepter. During the fall of Hydra, the Avengers recovered the scepter, but Ultron took it away, and when its blue gem casing shattered, the stone was released and integrated into Vision’s head. Considering how powerful both are, their tandem would be a great highlight in theVisionseries. Whether Olsen makes a brief or long appearance inVision, her presence would surely make the anticipated series even better.
