While many mysteries in the RPG can be solved in the game, others result from bugs primarily outlined by the tech-savvy community. Among the well-known glitches are flying mobs, hidden chests, and skill-increasing exploits. One gamer has discovered another strange occurrence as a ghost flag casts a shadow on the ground.
Reddit user Phantom-scribbler recently shared aSkyrimclip highlighting their experience of locating a ghost flag. The video focuses on an area near Arcwind Point where the shadow of a flag can be seen on the inclined mountain underneath the player. The gamer then looks around to observe where the shadow is being cast from, and there are only rock formations between two mountains on either side of the paththeSkyrimDragonbornis following. The camera then follows the trajectory of the shadow which leads up one mountain, then they follow the shadow to see if it’s somehow being cast upside down from the other mountain.
This Skyrim Player Found a Ghost Flag
No nearby structure resembles what the flag is attached to, and there is no flag to be found in Phantom-scribbler’s video. According to one Reddit user who shared a screenshot of the same place, there’s a tower full ofSkyrim’s DraugrDeathlords on the other side of the mountain. For some bizarre reason, perhaps the result of a glitch, the tower and its tattered flag are being projected through the mountain. As another player has found the same ghost flag, the glitch isn’t exclusive to one person. As it can be reliably found near Arcwind Point, there may be something wrong with the code associated with the flag or the mountain it’s hidden behind.
While Bethesda has patched some glitches out ofSkyrimover the years, many remain. AsBethesda continues to updateSkyrimoccasionally, this visual bug may be adjusted in a future patch.
