After all, it would be severely anticlimactic for a player who has spent over two years improving theirElden Ringcharacter to come into its DLC already too powerful for the new content to stand a chance. PerhapsStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s sequel could implement a similar system to balance Cal’s current power with a more challenging experience, all while giving players something new to work toward.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree’s Scadutree Fragments Increase Players' Damage Output and Mitigation
Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC introduced the Scadutree Fragment upgrade system, which allows players to gradually increase their damage output and mitigation with each fragment they collect. This system has come under fire, not because of what it does, but because it simultaneously allowed for increased difficulty in the DLC’s content. Plenty of players were hoping to breeze through Shadow of the Erdtree’s content with theiroverpoweredElden Ringcharacters, and the built-in Scadutree Fragment system essentially denied them that pleasure. Nevertheless, it works for what it is, and it gives players something to work toward in the DLC that actually means something.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree’s Scadutree Fragment System Would Justify Cal’s Increasing Power
WithCal Kestiscontinuing to increase in power with each installment, he will need an upgrade system to justify his current status in the next title, especially if he ends up being a Jedi Master — which he likely will. It seems like he will eventually become Kata Akuna’s mentor, but whether that happens in the next installment remains to be confirmed. Even so, with how powerful Cal currently is, he will need an upgrade system that is different from the memory/flashback system the series has been using, in which Cal remembers his training and suddenly gains a new skill. This is where Shadow of the Erdtree’s Scadutree Fragment system could come in.
If there were some type of collectible item or consumable for players to collect in the nextStar Wars Jedigame likeScadutree Fragments, it could beef up Cal enough to avoid needing to reuse the memory/flashback system as a way of improving him. The only issue it might run into is the fact thatStar Wars, as a science fiction franchise, leans a bit more toward realism thanElden Ring’s fantasy does, so Cal finding an item that magically enhances his strength and defense might be a bit too far-fetched of an idea to work. Still, it’s not entirely impossible and could be a unique way of improving Cal as a Jedi Master.
