Sabacc Is Kay’s Favorite Card Game in Star Wars Outlaws
It was already assumed thatSabacc would be inStar Wars Outlawsafter the game’s ESRB rating summary all but confirmed it. However, now it has been officially confirmed by the developer, so players will be able to enjoy the galaxy’s best card game during their off time inStar Wars Outlaws. Sabacc has countless variations, and it’s not clear which variations will be available inStar Wars Outlaws. Regardless, players will be able to participate in Kessel Sabacc, which is not only an unknown form of the game but is doubly interesting considering Sabacc has never been known to be played on the planet Kessel. Kessel Sabacc is reportedly Kay’s favorite card game in the galaxy, so players should expect it to come up often.
Players Can Make Bets on Canto Bight’s Fathier Racing Events to Earn Credits
Fathier Racing onthe planet Cantonica’s Canto Bight, Kay’s hometown, is another way players will be able to spend their recreational time inStar Wars Outlaws, although it’s currently unknown what the full extent of this mini-game will be. Canonically, Fathier Racing would see fathiers racing on a track for sport, all while people bet on them using a special currency called Cantocoins, which are a type of gambling chip specific to the Canto Casino in Canto Bight. Fathier Racing is a very popular sport in Canto Bight, and it seems even Kay’s axolotl-like companion Nix likes to get in on the betting. While betting on a Fathier Race has been confirmed, it’s still unclear whether players will be able to witness the race in action or simply hear about the results later.
Raven Six Is an Arcade Shooter Similar to Asteroids
Nothing like a video game within a video game, andStar Wars Outlawsdelivers that much with Raven Six, anarcade shooter similar toAsteroids. Only a few seconds of Raven Six’s gameplay has been revealed, but it appears it will see players shooting alien ships and asteroids by moving crosshairs around the screen and firing at the objects that appear. More than likely, as is the case with many games that include mini-games like this, there will be a Trophy or Achievement associated with Raven Six, so completionists will have another task to add to their list. Even if there isn’t, it will be another fun way for players to spend their time when they’re not focused on the game’s primary objective.
There will presumably be other mini-games included inStar Wars Outlawsfor players to enjoy, which would make sense considering their growing popularity over the last few years.
