Rather than using a more traditional skill tree system,Star Wars Outlawshas players learn new abilities bycompleting tasks for special NPCs known as experts. Many of these tasks involve Kay’s furry friend Nix, including some of the ones tied to the Treasure Hunter ability, which is one of several skills learned from the mechanic.
To unlock Treasure Hunter, players will need to find ten containers, use Nix to fetch an item, and find four different ways to make Nix happy. The first two are fairly simple, but completing the last one will require a bit of effort. How to Unlock the Treasure Hunter Ability in Star Wars Outlaws
Once players have met the aforementioned requirements, they’ll be able to unlock Treasure Hunter by heading to the Abilities menu, highlighting the ability, and then holding either the X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox) button. Once unlocked, Treasure Hunter makes it so thatNix alerts Kay to nearby containersso that she never misses out on a scavenging opportunity again.
