Fathier Races are events where several fathiers (horse-like creatures) compete on a looped track. These races are so popular that they arebroadcast at Fathier tables, which can be found in various locations. Before the race begins, you can place a bet on any fathier at one of these tables. If your chosen fathier wins, you’ll receive credits, with the exact payout amount revealed to you before placing your bet.

You’ll encounter your first Fathier race early in the game, located atThe Broken Hoof in Canto. While you may place a bet now, it’s not recommended, as you’d be leaving it to chance. However, you can cheat at this starting Fathier table.Leave the building and exploreuntil you find an NPC who mentions that the next race is rigged and asks you to place a bet on his behalf. Take the money — of course, you won’t be returning it to him. Now, look to the left of the NPC. You’ll find a datapad there. Read it carefully. Once again, the tips are randomized, so yours won’t necessarily match the example shown above.
