Players will need to make plenty ofbig decisions that will affect Kay’s reputation with the game’s criminal factionsduring a playthrough ofStar Wars Outlaws, one of which comes in the Sabotage syndicate quest. Sabotage can be triggered by speaking with a man named Verrick in the cantina at Jaunta’s Hope and requires players to steal a client list from the Pykes on behalf of the Hutt Cartel.

The first part of the quest seesStar Wars Outlawsplayers meet up with Verrick’s contact Monda near the Pyke Poaching Station in the southern part of Toshara. She’ll give Kay a bomb to sabotage a detonator, but when players find the location of the client list, Monda will show up and reveal that she’s actually working for Crimson Dawn. At this point, players can either double-cross the Hutts or refuse and finish the job.

Should You Refuse and Finish the Job or Double Cross the Hutts?

It makes no difference to the story whether players double-cross the Hutts or refuse and finish the job. However, if players decline Monda’s offer, they’ll need to kill her straight after, while double-crossing the Hutts will result in them only receiving 750 Credits for the job instead of 1,000. Kay’s reputation with the Hutts will increase regardless of what players decide to do, although it will go up a lot more if they refuse and finish the job. Their relationship with Crimson Dawn will improve or worsen depending on their decision.

If players have beensiding with the Pykesup until this point in the game, there’s a good chance that they’ll already have a Bad or even Poor relationship with Crimson Dawn, in which case,it’s better to refuse and finish the joband get a larger reputation gain with the Hutts. If, however, they’ve chosen to align themselves with Crimson Dawn up until this point, they may want to consider double-crossing the Hutts, even ifthis is one of only a handful of early-game opportunities to improve Kay’s relationship with the Hutt Cartel.
