InStar Wars Outlaws, players can upgrade their ship, speeder, gear, and blaster. Each of these will require different materials that will need to be farmed before going to the respective upgrade station to complete the actual upgrade.
A common blaster upgrade material players will start needing right away will be Transparisteel, which is luckily a common resource players will find if they know where to look. There are also various options on how you want to get this resource depending on yourreputation with the factionthat controls the current planet you are on.
Where To Find Transparisteel In Star Wars Outlaws
The first option is to try and find Transparisteel, which is more common than you’d expect. While exploring strongholds, story missions, or areas owned by a faction, you’ll often findsmall stacks of scraps that can be gathered. As long as you are not in an area owned by a faction, these items can be picked up without issue and will give the player a crafting material. There is no set visual for which in-game item gives Transparisteel, but looting everything you find will often reward some.
These items are usually easy to spot as they are highlighted white and will have a light blue icon over them indicatingNix can fetch the item for you. Transparisteel is also a possible item found in chests. While chests are often found through mission areas, players can alsotravel to landmarks throughout a planetto find them. Some landmarks will already be on a map with others being heard about through intel, and while some have designated rewards, there is always a chance to get Transparisteel.
Where To Buy Transparisteel In Star Wars Outlaws
In many major cities will be multiple merchants, including multiple general merchants that sell different things, with some having specialrequests to be unlocked. The merchants that sell Transparisteel will appear on the map as a generalmerchant icon and have the description, “Offers a variety of items, but especially consumables”. It also helps to visit the general merchant that is closest to the gun store, as they will most likely sell gun-related consumables.
Depending onyour reputation with the merchant’s faction, players will see a price increase or decrease, with it being more cost-effective to loot Transparisteel if you’re not on good terms with the main faction of that planet. you may see the merchant’s faction along the top right of the screen in their menu and can select the, “Pricing Details” option along the bottom of the screen to see just how good or bad the price difference is.
