Stardew Valleyplayer Puzzled-Cloud-5104 shared their recent discovery with the community, revealing how players can transfer stats from one piece of equipment to another. They put two pairs of shoes in theSewing Machinethat players can access after obtaining cloth and talking toEmily. The finished product produces a pair of shoes that looks identical to the second pair, but maintains the stats of the first pair. In other words, any good piece of clothing that doesn’t look great can have its stats applied to any other piece of clothes in the same slot.

Players have shared their thanks with Puzzled-Cloud-5104 for bringing this tip to light. Many were very happy to hear about it, lamenting that they either hated how their shoes or clothes looked or had been making things harder for themselves by using good-looking outfits with poor stats. While there’s a little bit of work that needs to be done tounlock Emily’s sewing machine, it’s well worth it. Players can also make unique pieces of clothing by combining objects together at the sewing machine.

Combining Weapons and Rings in Stardew Valley

Fellow fans pointed out that this particular ability isn’t limited to clothing. Fans who want to merge two pairs of rings or two weapons can do so as well, but not at Emily’s sewing machine. For that, they need toaccess Ginger Island and use the Forge. This is a significantly more difficult task, as it not only takes a while to get to Ginger Island, but the Forge also requires Cinder Shards. However, it’s well worth it once the investment is made.
