By keeping track of which villagers like which movies, relationship levels with various villagers can skyrocket thanks to good use of the movie theater. Of course, the farmer will have to pay every time they go to the movies, but by the time it’s unlocked, their farm’s income should more than cover it.
The movie theater is especially useful for building friendship with the Dwarf, who loves all movies.
More Activities Could Help Players Befriend Villagers in Stardew Valley
The movie theater is a fantastic way toearn friendship points inStardew Valley, but it doesn’t have to be the only way for players to spend time with the villagers. There are a few other potential activities that could have similar results. For example, perhaps the player could invite someone to go fishing with them, ask them to accompany them in the mines, or other such tasks. These are things that players will find themselves doing on many days anyway, and could be fun bonding activities. There would be good reason for players to be able to do these tasks with villagers.
New Activities in Stardew Valley Could Vary Based on Villager Tastes
These tasks could even function fairly similar to the movie theater. For example, Willy would probably lovegoing fishing inStardew Valleybecause he introduced the farmer to the concept, and he loves the sea in general; meanwhile, Vincent, being a kid, might find it too boring. Likewise, the adventure-seeking Abigail would probably enjoy a trip to the mines, but the less adventurous Penny might not be interested in such an outing. Players need to build each character’s friendship inStardew Valleyin different ways, and incorporating more friendship activities should reflect that philosophy through likes and dislikes.
Forming relationships withStardew Valley’s villagers is delightful, so more ways to do so would be well-appreciated.
