Harvest Seasonis a side quest inOnce Humanwhere players must gather meteorological data for the location and crops that may be harvested under certain conditions. Furthermore, the task will require players to examine many crops and solve a puzzle in order to test them.
How to Start Harvest Season Quest in Once Human
The Harvest Season side quest can be started after you’ve met and talked withHannah Garland. She can be found standing beside theCitrus County roadin theDayton Wetlands. Harvest Season is alevel five side quest; therefore, it is one of the first you’ll experience in the game.
After speaking with Hannah, when the prompts appear, select"Do Hannah a Favor"to begin the quest. Hannah will then tell how her hometown, Citrus County, has been invaded by the Deviants and Stardust and how she wants the Stardust to leave so that life can return to her homeland.
As the conversation progresses, you will be given specific directions on how to gather samples from Peggy and Ben’s farm in order to identify crops that are appropriate to harvest. Finishing this side quest will earnx110Energy Link, x430 Exp, x3 Stellar Planula, and x1 Eclipse Cortex.
Finding the Meteorological Box in Citrus County
Once the quest has started, the first task you will be given is to find the Meteorological Box in Citrus County. Make your way towards the location by following the quest marker, and you will spot a water tower.
Defeat the deviant standing below the ladder before continuing to ascend the tower using the ladder. When you reach the top, press F to interact with the weather detection crate and choose “Citrus County’s meteorological data,” which will disclose thecrops that are ready for harvesting.
Before descending the ladder, look for theCitrus County Mystical Crateon the roof beside the Water Tower. So, jump over to the roof, defeat the deviant, and open the Mystical Crate.
Gathering Wheat and Corn
Now that you’ve obtained information from the Weather Detection Crate, it’s time tocollect two cropsbased on the meteorological data you just acquired. Follow the pointer to the fields, where you’ll locate the two crops you need:CornandWheat.
Collect one piece of each crop (corn and wheat). During your collecting, you may encounter some deviants, so take them down first, particularly the scarecrow deviant.
Finding Stardust Testing Machine
After you’ve collected the two crops necessary for the quest, the next step is to find the Stardust testing machine, which is located inside a neighboring house. Follow the directions west of Citrus County and enter the home to find theStardust Contamination Detector.
How to Solve Stardust Detector Puzzle
Using the Stardust Contamination Detector, you must test the crops you found. But before starting the test, you will encounter the Stardust Detector puzzle, which must be solved before proceeding.
Each time you open the machine, thepuzzle will be different. Thus, there isno fixed solution.However, following the clues on the puzzle screen, you can rotate the rings and solve the puzzle.
You will be givena target at the bottom of the puzzle, which you must fulfill. In the case of the puzzle shown in the screenshot, the target is 20. If you look at the bars in the puzzle’s outer, middle, and inner rings, you will notice that each bar has a number assigned to it (1, 3, 4, 6, 8 in the rings of the screenshot). You must bring each bar to the bottom of the rings so that thethree bars add up to the targetyou were assigned.
The bars in each ring layer will be set in place; therefore, you must use the buttons on the right to move each ring, aiming to bring the bars together in a position that meets the objective. As shown in the screenshot, 6+8+6=20 met the specified target.
Once you’ve completed the task, choose the two crops you gathered and press and hold F to submit them for testing. Once the results are in, follow the marker and present it to Hannah tofinish the Harvest Season side quest.
