Specifically, this new mod called “X-34 Landspeeder” brings the famedStar Warsvehicle piloted by Luke Skywalker tothe worlds ofStarfield. As seen in radiclown’s images, the mod transforms the REV-8 into an incredibly detailed version of the X-34 Landspeeder. According to the mod creator, theStar Warsspeeder can be used in the game after the vanilla REV-8 has been purchased.
Starfield Mod Adds Luke’s Landspeeder to the Game
The choice of the X-34 Landspeeder from radiclown makes a lot of sense. In addition to being roughly the size of the REV-8 rover, the X-34 Landspeeder is one of the more iconic vehicles in the entireStar Warsfranchise. It was introduced near the beginning ofEpisode 4: A New Hopeand was piloted by Luke Skywalker on Tatooine. While the speeder was eventually sold off to afford passage onHan Solo’s Millennium Falcon, its presence left an indelible mark in the minds of manyStar Warsfans.
The reception of the X-34 Landspeeder inStarfieldhas been positive on places like Reddit, with a recent post from Marcusuk1 about the mod gaining thousands of upvotes. Among the comments, some were impressed with how fast the vehicle mod was made available on NexusMods. In addition, it is worth pointing out that radiclown plans to make more adjustments to enhance the speeder experience. According to the mod creator, they plan to improve collisions and add another variant of the X-34 Landspeeder that removes the mounted cannon.
