The Joker is a very capable man, but he is still just that. There are no powers other than a hyper-aware insanity that have graced Joker. Yet, through the pages of DC Comics, the Joker has had multiple opportunities to let loose with some incredible powers, providing fans of DC with some of the strongest Jokers across the multiverse.
7Endgame Joker
A Joker With a Final Plan and a Ton of Dionesium
The Joker that was featured inBatman: Endgamemight have been the one from the main continuity, but it was still one with an increase in power. The Joker despises losing, and after knowing Batman’s secret identity for quite some time, he decides that it’s finally time to end their game, and to kill the Batman and the Bat Family once and for all.
What aids Joker in this quest is his unrelenting spirit and the fact that he has discovered a rare chemical underneath Gotham called Dionesium. Dionesium is like an evolved version of the Lazarus Pit, and it granted Joker immortality through incredible healing factors and an increase in his already superb agility.
6Titan Formula Joker
Joker With the Heightened Powers of Bane and Beyond
When Joker managed to take hold of Arkham Asylum in Rocksteady’s video gameBatman: Arkham Asylum, he had a vile trick up his sleeve that involved blackmailing one of the doctors to experiment with Bane’s blood and his Venom. Doctor Young was able to create the Titan formula, which gave its user berserker rage and a twisted hulking body, which is something Joker gave to himself in the final showdown between himself and Batman.
The Titan version of Joker was adorned with pointed bones sticking from his spine, overgrown fingernails, and a hulking mass that made him intimidating to look at. This Titan Joker was incredibly strong, but he was still no match to Batman’s resilience, and once the Titan formula wore off, Joker’s blood would be fatally poisoned.
5Joker Robin
In an Elseworld, Batman roams the wastelands of a lost Gotham and a desolate world. Aiding him is none other than his nemesis, the Joker, who is but a head in a jar. Thankfully for Batman, it seems that the end of the world is enough for the two of them to put their differences aside, and Joker seems to become a hero by the end of the story.
Joker gets a new robotic body, and he becomes the newest Robin to Batman. Being just a head certainly has its advantages for Joker, as it means he can freely use his robot body, and those are for methods of good, not evil.
4The Spectre Joker
Joker Takes Control of the Spectre’s Powers
When the Joker becomes a guest of honor at a hotel dedicated to his charm, he finds the organization completely insulting and begins a killing spree. This run of murders is the last straw for the Sepctre, a spirit of Vengeance whose incredible omnipotence and empowerment allow him the powers of a god. As such, the Spectre enters into Joker’s soul to discover the truth behind his insanity, but only finds pain and overwhelming madness.
Joker’s soul is able to overpower the Spectre, giving Joker the full powers of the Spectre in his body. This allows Joker to conjure up all sorts of mischief with god-like powers. However, embued with the Spirit of Vengeance, even the Joker was overwhelmed with the guilt of past murders, which made him easy to subdue.
3Batman Who Laughs
What If Batman Became the Joker
Hailing from the Dark Multiverseis the Batman Who Laughs, who actually isn’t the Joker, but a twisted variant of him from a dark Earth. The Batman Who Laughs is the leader of the Dark Knights, and his goal to snuff out the Multiverse to drag it down to the depths of the Dark Multiverse makes him a true threat. Yet, what’s even worse, is the fact that there is a Bruce Wayne behind that twisted smile.
The Batman Who Laughs is a Batman who broke his rule and killed the Joker, causing a fatal dose of Joker gas to be released from the Clown Prince of Crime. This forever altered the Batman of Earth -22 and caused him to kill all the heroes in his world, where he would then set his sights on the never-ending Multiverse for his sadistic pleasure.

A Joker Who Was Embued With the Powers of God-Like Magic
TheInjusticeuniverse might be another Elseworlds, but it’s one that is far too similar to the main DC continuity, except for a few differences that involve an evil dictator Superman. The main point of interest for this universe duringYear Zerois the Joker, who has developed the power to command people to do anything simply by uttering words that they are enthralled to follow.
Joker discovers the Lord of Chaos helmet, and becomes the champion of chaos, allowing him to utilize the powers of Doctor Fate, but without the sanity to guide him. As the Lord of Chaos,Joker took it upon himselfto cure the world of order and was even able to beat Superman.
1Emperor Joker
A God of the Universe, This Joker Has the Powers of Mister Mxyzptlk
Superman wakes up in a mad world, where his memory alludes to him, and the things he thought he knew and experienced seem to be nothing but a dream in a waking nightmare. As it turns out, Joker has taken control of reality itself and has manipulated it into his twisted vision of the perfect world, filled with madness and chaos. This power was only capable of being achieved by Mister Mxyzptlk, a fifth-dimensional imp who often tormented Superman for his own amusement.
This all started out of boredom when Mxyzptlk wanted to see what the Joker would do with 1% of his power. Yet, the Joker should never be underestimated, as he used this 1% to learn Mxyzptlk’s name and take the remaining 99%.This Joker warped reality, killed Batman in endless horrific ways that drove him to the abyss of insanity, and even ate the population of China because he craved Chinese food.
