When first startingSword of Convallaria, players will be able to choose either the male or female protagonist. Overall, this doesn’t change much of the game at all and doesn’t change anything gameplay-wise.
The main protagonist will only be a playable character for a fewstory missions using stamina, and will later take a back seat and only be seen in Elysium. For those who want to change the character they originally picked, they can do so, but it will come at a cost.
How to Change Your Appearance In Sword Of Convallaria
Changing your appearance can be done at any time while in Elysium by selecting the profile menu in the top left of the screen. To the right of your account’s name will be an icon with a pencil within. Select the icon and then the, “Change Appearance” option. The next menu will allow you tochange between the male and female protagonists, for the cost of 50 Hope Luxites.
50 Hope Luxites will have to be spent every time you want to make this change, as each skin can’t be permanently purchased. Changing your appearance gives you access to that character’s Avatar icon for your profile, with you only being able to use the icon for your current gender. Aside from that, your appearance during story missions will change along with the character model in Elysium, otherwise,no gameplay changes happen when changing your appearance.
Should You Change Your Appearance
Hope Luxites are one of the main currencies in the game, but using them to change your gender may not be worthwhile.Hope Luxites are the main currency used to getSecret Fates inSword Of Convallariaand are used to summon new heroes and weapons, making it important to spend them on making your party stronger. Exchanging your Hope Luxites for other items will just about always be the better option. If your account is still new andyou want to re-roll, it may be better to make a new account and choose the new appearance you want while it is free. While 50 Hope Luxites may not seem like much, it’s best tosave up as many as possible and wait for specific summon bannersto ensure you get the heroes you want thanks to the guarantee system.
