Whether players enjoy PvE gameplay, or competing against others in PvP,Once Humanhas a lot of content to offer. Thanks to its intriguing horror theme, well-fleshed-out storyline, and solid game mechanics based aroundsurvival gameplay, it has solidified itself a spot as an excellent free-to-play game. An optional season pass is available for players who want access to better rewards.
Power Surge is a baked-in ability on some weapons in thishorror survival game. Power Surge, when triggered, will stun an enemy for 2 seconds. On top of this, it does additional damage and does not rely on weak spot hits. Therefore, it is consistent damage over time that is easier to apply than some of the other status damage types in the game. Overall, a good Power Surge build is very capable.
6Momentum Up
Faster Weapon Fire
This mod complements aPower Surge buildeffectively, despite not directly affecting the ability itself. It enhances overall damage by increasing both the weapon’s firing rate and its damage output. The mod applies different bonuses based on how much ammo remains in the magazine.
During the first half of the magazine, the weapon fires at a faster rate, while during the second half, the damage per shot is increased. To maximize its effectiveness, it is beneficial to empty the magazine completely before reloading.

There are quite a few mods inOnce Humanthat directly impact the Power Surge special ability. This epic weapon mod is one of the easiest of them to acquire, although it is still down to luck which mods a player loots. It is also very effective, as it really does extend the Power Surge ability to be much more likely to make the status damage effect stick.
It works like a negative feedback loop, with each Power Surge trigger adding to the Power Surge trigger chance for 5 seconds, and this can be stacked up to 4 times. When combined with other, similar mods, it can result in Power Surge triggering incredibly frequently, melting most enemies.

As Power Surge mods go inOnce Human, this one is arguably one of the best, especially when it is used on a weapon fighting normal enemies when farming loot and materials, as it adds the Power Surgestatus damageeffect to one additional enemy when the mod triggers.
However, this is a weapon mod, and the player will need to make a decision whether this is the mod they want to use, as there are some other very good Power Surge weapon mods, and only one can be fitted to a weapon.
3Static Shock
Reduces Stun But Increases Damage
This weapon mod is quite interesting, it is one of the more complex mods to understand inOnce Human. On paper, it doesn’t look so good. However, if the player takes a while to consider what it does, it actually works out to be a great DPS-boosting mod.
Power Surge stuns an enemy for a short time. This mod reduces the stun duration. But it also increases the Power Surge damage. For players that don’t care about how long enemies stay stunned, this is a great mod for boosting damage with a Power Surge build.
2Surge Amplifier

The Surge Amplifier mod is another weapon mod inOnce Humanthat adds significant damage to the Power Surge special ability. There are quite a few mods that fill this role, and a player will need to decide which of them fits their build the best.
This mod increases the damage output of Power Surge every time Power Surge does damage to a target. It lasts for 3 seconds and stacks up to 4 times. This mod works well in call combat in the game, against normal enemies, elites, and bosses alike.
1Thunderclap
Great For Boss Fights
The Thunderclap mod is fantastic forboss fights inOnce Human, for players who have put together a solid Power Surge build. It isn’t very useful in normal play, fighting standard enemies though. As it is unlikely that a player will get to fire 20 rounds at a normal enemy, and this mod would do nothing in this situation. It is well worth trying tofarm this mod.
However, during boss fights or even against elite enemies, the massive damage bonus on the 20th time that Power Surge is triggered can be completely devastating. Of course, it works best when other mods are used to increase the chance of triggering Power Surge as well.
