Capable of telepathic speech, the Sea Emperor is actually a captive on the planet, and players can work to free its young if they so choose. Though not necessarily a hostile enemy “boss”, the Sea Emperor Leviathan is a truly humbling sight to behold in-game.

Moeder, Master of the Oceanis a massive underwater creature introduced toARK: Survival Evolvedas part of theGenesis: Part 1expansion pack. Arguably one of the hardest bosses in the game, Moeder is also one of the biggest.

Players will have to fend off an army of eel minions when facing this primodial sea monster, as well as avoid giant biting attacks whenever Moeder comes out of hiding. The creature can be found at 37 LAT, 49 LON in the game’s map, but players need to come prepared if they’re planning to do battle with her.

The monstrous sea entity that stalks the oil rig inStill Wakes The Deepis known only as"The Shape", though it is not explicitly referred to this way during the game. This Lovecraftian horror is an incredible rendition ofsome of the author’s darkest fantasies, complete with iridescent skin and a horrible proclivity for mutilating human beings.

When drilling in the North Sea, the crew of the Beira D oil rig drill into a mysterious object. It quickly becomes clear that they have awoken a primordial, perhaps even cosmic monster that infects the oil and turns whoever it touches into a demonic fleshy mutant.

Dredge Stellar Basin Creature

Dredgeis a beautiful indie fishing game in which players must navigate a small boat arounda range of treacherous islands, all the while on the hunt for rare and exotic catches and treasures. One creature that stands out, and most certainly cannot be caught, is theStellar Basin Creature.

Occupying the entirety of the waters between Stellar Basin’s various islands, this creature will attack on sight unless it is pacified. In order to start the questline to pacify the creature and access the various treasures and species of the basin, players can head to the Research Outpost and complete the quest for the Researcher.
