These are related series of bite-sized quests that teach the player different aspects of the game and reward a small amount of experience points. Some of these challenge scenarios are very easy to complete and should be done as soon as possible to reap the greatest benefits. Some, such as the tutorial challenges, are automatically triggered as part of the basic gameplay tutorial. Others will take longer to complete or teach the player about theopen-world map.

The trader challenges are the hardest of the challenges on this list, but still pretty easy to complete. These challenges all revolve around finding the locations of thedifferent traders, buying and selling items, and completing trader missions.
If a7 Days To Dieplayer follows the challenges from left to right, they will be gradually guided through all of the different biomes. Be careful though, some biomes, such as the desert or snow biome are going to be too tough for new players with no gear and few levels.

The crafting challenges in7 Days To Dieact like a tutorial to the advancedcrafting mechanics. They also help to explain the new book-based method for unlocking crafting recipes. None of them are particularly hard to complete.
However, a new player might find that they don’t have easy or safe access to some of the raw materials and parts that this series of challenges calls for. This means that the player may need to wait until they are a little way into the game to complete them all.

A base is also required for blood moon night, and this is a base that will need to be designed with defensive ability in mind. Completing this series of challenges will teach the player everything they need to know about building such a base. However, it is down to the player to work out how to defend.

Loading into a fresh game as a new player in7 Days To Diecan be quite scary. Knowing that there must be zombies close, but with no idea how to do anything apart from moving around. Until the 1.0 release of7 Days To Die, the in-game tutorial was less than stellar. It has now been improved and combined into a series of basic challenges.
The tutorial challenges teach the most basic skills that all7 Days To Dieplayers need to learn as soon as possible. This includes crafting and using basic weapons, setting up a camp, and equipping the player with some basic clothing and armor, among others. The last step in this series of challenges is to point the player towards the very first trader that they will deal with.
