Sims can use Cupid’s Corner to meet the love of their life, stir up some drama in the household, or as a way to make friends.

How to Set up a Cupid’s Corner Profile

Sims can only start their journey on Cupid’s Corner if they’re a Young Adult or older - teens aren’t allowed.To create a dating app profile inThe Sims 4, players have to select their phone and then press the Cupid’s Corner app symbol (a pink heart with an arrow). Then, they must press the “Open Cupid’s Corner,” which will give them access to the app and all its features.

When players open the Cupid’s Corner app for the first time, they will notice that their Sim will have a default picture of themselves as their profile picture. Gamers can change this by pressing the camera icon below their picture. They can then randomize poses and change the zoom to fit their preferences.

Having a higher Photography Skill makes it so Sims can take better profile pictures for Cupid’s Corner.

The “I’m Looking For…” section will auto-select Young Adults, Adults, and Elders; gamers should uncheck any age groups that they would like to avoid.

Lastly, two random traits will appear in the “I Describe Myself As…” section of the Sim’s Cupid’s Corner app. Gamers can switch between any traits they may have. Sims can only display two traits on their Cupid’s Corner profile, and they will only be able to view two traits of their potential matches. This means that they won’t fully know a Sim from their profile. Thankfully, it’s not possible to lie, so they won’t be catfished by other Sims.

If Sims decide that this dating app isn’t for them, they can deactivate at any time by selecting it on their phone. Later on, they can always activate Cupid’s Corner once again.

How to Check Your Matches in Cupid’s Corner

Potential matches will appear in the Matches tab of Cupid’s Corner. Here, gamers can swipe through seven profile. If they like any of the Sims they encounter, they can like the Heart symbol below their profile. If not, they can press Refresh Matches to look at seven new profiles. However, they must wait a bit before refreshing for new matches again.

Since gamers have be selective when choosing their matches, Cupid’s Corner will display two traits and let the user know whether they’re neutral or have been flagged, whether as a turn-on or turn-off.

To check out their Sim’s liked matches, gamers will have to select the Saved tab.Players can save up to 15 Sim profiles in Cupid’s Corner and they can interact with a maximum of three matches per day.

How to Create Dates through Cupid’s Corner

Liking a Sims Cupid’s Corner profile will add it to the Saved tab. Here, players can either add the Sim to their contacts, which will add them to the Relationship panel so they can befriend them platonically, or they can ask to the other Sim to create a date with them, which gives them opportunity to take them on a Get to Know You Date or aRomantic Date event.

Alternatively, if players have decided not to pursue them, they can click the trash can symbol to remove the profile from the Cupid’s Corner Saved tab.

Fans can also go on blind dates with a stranger by selecting the Cupid’s Corner app on their phone, but clicking the “Go on a Blind Date” option rather than opening the app and browsing through their matches and saved profiles.

Players can encounter Sims from their own game in Cupid’s Corner as well as Sims from the Gallery, and they can toggle these options on and off to meet their preferences.

To check whether Gallery Sims can appear in Cupid’s Corner, players must open Game Options, select Pack Settings, and scroll down to the Lovestruck section. Here, they can toggle on and off the following settings:
