Big Nintendo News Expected to Come Soon
Shortly after the Nintendo Direct August 2024 hit the internet, Nintendo itself confirmed a special Direct presentation focused on its upcoming museum. ThisNintendo Museum presentation revealedall kinds of interesting details about what fans can expect if they visit the building, but did not contain any news about upcoming Nintendo games. Some fans believed that the Museum video is what PH Brazil was leaking, but they have since indicated that it is not what they were talking about.
There is plenty of historical precedence backing up the possibility that a Nintendo Direct will take place this month. Almost every year, a Nintendo Direct has taken place in August or September, and there’s no reason to assume that 2024 will be any different. Even so, it’s best for Nintendo fans to keep their expectations in check until an official announcement comes from Nintendo. If a Nintendo Direct does take place this week or in September, only time will tell what it has in store. It’s possible Nintendo will use such an event to finally show off the Switch 2 console, but it’s also possible that it will keep the focus on the original Switch for now, especially since it’swithin striking distance of overcoming the PS2to be named the best-selling video game console of all time.
