Summary
Everyone loves a classic, and asDestiny2goes on to create new Exotics for the Titans class, there are some that players fromDestiny(2014) might miss a tad too much. The originalDestinydid not have the most or the best Exotics for Titans, and as the subclass 3.0 program always players to craft some amazing builds, there are some Exotics that look far toointeresting with their visual styleand perks to ignore.
Whilst some of these Exotics might need a revamp or a rework, it would be nice to seeDestiny2come full circle with the return of these Exotics that come specifically for the Titan class, allowing further impressive builds toflourish after The Final Shape.
5Helm Of Inmost Light
Provides Death From Above And Headstrong For Fist Of Havoc
Destiny2provided players with the Heart of Inmost Light, an Exotic armor for Titans that is still extremely useful to this day. Yet, for nostalgia purposes, it would be great to have Helm of Inmost Light back in the game, even if its Exotic perk is underwhelming and would need a rework.
The Exotic perk for Helm of Inmost Light acts more like the bonuses from Aspects and Fragments inan Arc 3.0build rather than something that works for all classes. Whilst it would be nice to have another Arc-exclusive Titan Exotic, Death From Above and Headstrong already exist without this Exotic in play.
4The Glasshouse
Blessing Of Light And Weapons Last Longer
The Glasshouse is a pretty good Exotic Helmet that would see passive buffs from Titan’s Void Super, Ward of Dawn. When passing through the Titan bubble, players could grant themselves a25%increase in weapon damageor an overshield, each of which, would last 10 seconds. With the Glasshouse, this effect would last longer, meaning players could spend less time hopping back into the Titan bubble.
This is definitely an Exotic perk that could work inDestiny2, so long as Bungie finds a way to make Ward of Dawn usableoutside of PvPchoke points again since Ward of Dawn hasn’t seen much action when compared to the likes of the Warlock Well of Radiance.
3Ruin Wings
Heavy Ammo Drops More Often
Heavy Ammo is a constant burden to run dry on due to how useful it can be in endgame content. As such, players are likely to run a few mods for Heavy Ammo Finder and Heavy Ammo Scout on their Helmet. These mods alone make Ruin Wings pretty useless if it were tocome back for anythingother than a visual flair.
Yet, Ruin Wings could be reworked to see further synergy with Heavy Weapons. A rework is always a nice touch, and since fans love to pile their Heavy Ammo into bosses, complementing them with Ruin Wings could work wonders.
2Empyrean Bellicose
Float In The Air When Aiming Weapons And Earn Melee Charge For Orbs Of Power
Empyrean Bellicose is yet another Exotic Helmet for Titans that hasyet to see a return. It’s a shame, as both of the perks for this Exotic could easily find a place in the meta forDestiny2. After all, the ability to float in the air for a short period of time whilst aiming weapons allows for more freedom of movement, much like that of a Warlock.
The other perk to recharge melee abilities by collecting Orbs of Power when the player’s Super is full is great. Imagine saving a Super for the boss, and in the meantime, collecting an infinite number of Orbs of Powerwhilst swinging the Titan’s Consecration hammer. It could be immense.
1The Taikonaut
Rocket Launchers Gain Tracking, Radar Remains When Zooming, Heavy Ammo Drops Frequently
An Exotic Helmet designed around the use of Heavy Weapons and Rocket Launchers in particular, the Taikonaut might not have the best potential for endgame content due to the fact that there is no damage buff in general, but the frequent Heavy Ammo drops will make it so that players rarely run out of their favorite Heavy Weapon.
The tracking module also benefits, even if some Rocket Launchers naturally have this as a perk, so a rework might need to be issued if The Taikonaut ever comes into play. Either way, there’s still worth in this Exotic Helmet for Titans thatshould be explored.
