Summary
AValheimplayer has recently defeated the boss Yagluth without attacking even once by using an army of wolves. Due to its many systems,Valheimgives players a lot of freedom to decide how to play, and this gamer found a pretty interesting exploit using hordes of tamed wolves.
Released in early access in 2021,Valheimquickly became a huge, unexpected hit, selling over 12 million units on Steam. Part of why the game became so popular was due to having simple, but deep gameplay elements, like its extensive crafting and base-building systems. Also,Valheimallows players to tame animals and use them as livestock or pets. For example, taming a wolf inValheimis not an easy task, but it can be very useful, as they follow the player around and attack most enemies on sight.
Now, aValheimplayer called ElectrycStorme shared an interesting short video in which it’s possible to see the player leading a small army of dozens of wolves to aValheimboss called Yagluth. Yagluth is one ofthe most powerful bosses inValheim, and this fight could represent a real threat for an inexperienced player, but ElectrycStorme defeated the monster without attacking even once. Instead, the player used their wolves to swarm the huge skeleton, killing it in around 20 seconds.
Smart Valheim Player Destroys Yagluth Using Only Wolves
In the comments of ElectrycStorme’s post, the gamer explained how they managed to get so many wolves to Yagluth’s spawning place. According to ElectrycStorme, they transported a couple of them from another area and then bred them for a while before attacking the boss, multiplying their numbers. Most gamers approved of the tactic, acknowledging how powerful taming animals can be inValheim.
Valheimplayers are experts at abusing the game’s systems, and ElectrycStorme was not the only one to have a clever idea recently. Earlier this week, for example, anotherValheimplayer shared a genius storage solutionwith the community, using the ceiling and walls to store valuable items while occupying less space than usual.
Another neat trick shared with the fan base recently wasa way to keep chickens safe from raids inValheim. In this case, the player needs to raise their chickens inside a Burial Chamber. This area cannot be raided and generally, it’s possible to have enough heat so that the chicken eggs will be able to hatch normally. Hopefully, smartValheimplayers will keep sharing even more interesting tricks with the community, making the game more interesting for other gamers.
