When you start playingVisions of Manafor the first time, the game will ask you to choose the difficulty you want to play. There are four difficulty levels inVisions of Mana:Beginner,Easy,Normal,andHard.

Can You Change Difficulty in Visions of Mana?
To get right into it, yes, you can change the difficulty during your playthrough ofVisions of Mana, but you cannot change it during a battle sequence.
It’s also worth noting that you cannot alter the difficulty until you getpast the prologueofVisions of Manaand gain control of Val, the story’s main hero.
Tochange difficulty,open the main menu and go into theOptions. You’ll see the difficulty slider underneath the Language Settings in theGame Settingssection.
What are the Differences Between Difficulty Options?
As we mentioned in the intro, there are four settings to pick when it comes to the difficulty in Visions of Mana:Beginner,Easy,Normal,andHard.
Based on our test, it seems that the higher the difficulty, themore damage enemies will inflict on you, and you will alsodeal less damage with your attacks. So, having the game on Hard mode will take much longer to take down bosses and regular monsters.
Is There a Difficulty Trophy/Achievement for Visions of Mana?
If you’re atrophy hunterworried about missing out on a trophy or achievement that’s tied to completing the game on a certain difficulty, do not worry. While there is one trophy tied to beating a particular boss on Hard mode, you don’t have to play theentire game on Hardfor the achievement to pop. The boss in question might be a spoiler, but the name of the trophy/achievement (and boss) can be found below:
