InCall of Duty: Warzone, submachine guns (SMGs) continue to dominate close-quarters combat in all modes within the battle royale. With most of them equipped with a blistering rate of fire, there are several options that giveWarzoneplayers the upper hand during the heat of battle.
AsSeason 5 Reloadedcontinues to progress, Raven Software keeps applying various buffs and nerfs to the ever-expanding arsenal in order to maintain a somewhat level playing field and to giveWarzoneplayers plenty of choice when building a strong loadout. Here, find the strongest SMGs to use that will guarantee plenty of kills and the best chance of securing victory.
Best Warzone SMGs
With so many different SMGs to choose from inWarzone, it can be tricky to determine which are the best ones to use. Despite this, there are a handful that stand out thanks to their fire rate, recoil, and ease of use in those hectic close-range battles.
Static-HV
Since its arrival at the start of Season 5, theStatic-HVcontinues to lead the SMG category even after receiving numerous nerfs in a bid to add some balance. Armed with a huge magazine as standard, its incredible bullet velocity and strong damage range makes the Static-HV one of the more versatile SMGs on offer.
We expect it to receive further nerfs in Season 6 so make the most of it while it continues to dominate the action.
Superi 46
After excelling prior to the Static-HV taking the top spot, theSuperi 46remains a viable SMG to use inWarzonethanks to its extremely high mobility. For those looking to run and gun the opposition, it’s still capable of accompanying anassault rifleto create an extremely versatile loadout capable of making an impact at all distances.
The Superi 46 also received nerfs in recent balancing updates, seeing it drop down the rankings but it still possesses high damage output enough to down and eliminate opponents with ease.
Striker
More recently, the Striker has become an underrated SMG to use as part of aWarzoneloadout thanks to its impressive versatility in big-map battle royale and Resurgence matches. Having received buffs in Season 5 Reloaded, there are very few drawbacks when using the Striker.
Armed with minimal recoil, damage range to compete with any weapon at close-quarters, and enough range to take care of enemies from afar, it has skyrocketed in popularity and looks to remain a popular choice for the remainder of the season.
TheCall of Duty: Warzonemeta changes regularly but in Season 5 Reloaded, this trio of SMGs continues to provide excellent close-range performance. With only two seasonal updates remaining, there’s a chance new arrivals will spice things up but for the time being, it’s very hard to go wrong with either of these weapons as part of a loadout.
