Black Ops 6’srelease is getting closer every day, promising players access to action-packed modes like Multiplayer and Zombies, along with a thrillingCampaign that acts as a direct sequel toBlack Ops: Cold War. While all-new content is exciting for many, some players who regularly playModern Warfare 3andWarzonemay be concerned about what content will carry over from one game to the next.
Modern Warfare 3introduced the first version of Carry Forwardwith its release, allowing content fromModern Warfare 2to carry over into the next premium title. This included weapons, Operator cosmetics, and more.Black Ops 6will also feature some carried-over content, though not exactly in the same way as the previousCall of Dutytitle.
What Content Will Carry Over To Black Ops 6 & Warzone?
Activision has confirmed in aCall of Dutyblog postthatno content fromModern Warfare 2orModern Warfare 3will carry over to the premium experience ofBlack Ops 6. This means that weapons earned in both games, along with Operator Skins, Camos, and Weapon Blueprints, will not be available inBlack Ops 6. The only exception here is the Woods Operator Pack, which players can get for bothBlack Ops 6andModern Warfare 3bypre-orderingBlack Ops 6.
On theWarzoneside of things, however, fans can expectall content from bothModern Warfare 2andModern Warfare 3to remain availableeven afterBlack Ops 6is integrated into the game during the debut of Season 1. This means players will stillhave access to all Operator Skins, Camos, Weapon Blueprints, and more from both games insideWarzone. Additionally, players will be able to continue using their favorite weapons from bothModern Warfare 2andModern Warfare 3, even after theBlack Ops 6content — including the arrival ofthe Area 99 Resurgence map— is introduced toWarzoneonce Season 1 rolls out.
