The four main difficulty settings inStar Wars OutlawsareExplorer,Adventurer,Outlaw, andScoundrel. Each one effectively serves as a set of presets that dictate things like player health, enemy difficulty, and wanted difficulty. Players can stick with the suggested presets or customize a difficulty setting to better suit their needs, which may prove useful if players excel in one area of the game but struggle in another.

For example, players may be really good at mini-games and exploration but suck at combat, in which case, they could choose the Scoundrel difficulty setting but then customize it to lower enemy difficulty and increase player health.
