As far asvideo game companionsgo, Nix will likely go down as one of the all-time greats. InStar Wars Outlaws, Kay’s cute little merqaal can help out in a number of different ways, from distracting enemies to pickpocketing unsuspecting civilians as they go about their day-to-day business. Also, he’s downright adorable, for whatever that’s worth.
Star Wars Outlawsplayers will first get an idea of just how useful Nix can be at the beginning of the Underworld mission when he steals a valuable ring right off of the finger of a Pyke underboss named Gorak. Players will then have the option to sell the ring and make an easy buck, although they’re arguably much better off holding onto it for the time being.
Should You Give the Ring or Keep the Ring?
Nix will steal the ring after playersfind a way to sneak into Gorak’s suiteat the beginning of the Underworld mission, after which, players will be free to sell it to any vendor for 500 Credits. However, if they hold onto it and then trigger a mission called The Traitor, Gorak will ask for the ring back. Assuming players still have it, they can eithergive the ring or keep the ring.
Keeping the ring will allow players to sell it for 500 Credits. Returning the ring will improve Kay’s reputation with the Pykes, which is arguably worth a lot more than 500 Credits, particularly if players opted to choose toside with Crimson Dawnin some of the earlier story missions.
Although there are plenty of other ways to improve Kay’s reputation with a faction, it’s rare to find one this simple, outside of situations where players must choose between one of two crime syndicates, that is. With this in mind, players should return the ring to Gorak. If they really need the money, they can use save scumming andplay a couple of hands of Sabaccor bet on a few Fathier races.
