Melee weapons may not be as crucial as guns inOnce Human, but they still provide much-needed relief when monsters get a little too close for comfort. Having a decent melee weapon can help you survive such emergencies, and if you’re looking for a reliable pick, look no further than theStun Baton.
The Stun Baton is widely accepted as one of thebest melee weapons inOnce Human. It’s handy in a pinch, fairly cheap to craft, and doesn’t need any investment to be useful. If you haven’t gotten the blueprints for this weapon yet, here’s where you can find it.
Once Human Stun Baton Location
Weapon Crates and boss chests have a chance to drop Stun Baton. These cannot be repaired, though they may come pre-upgraded.
You can get the Stun Baton’s BP fragments by going to Holt Town, a medium-sized Stronghold just northeast of Tall Grass Inn in Chalk Peak. The fragments are inside Holt Town’s Mystical Crate, which is in the big museum near the center of town.
Once you enter the museum, head to the second floor via one of the elevators. However, doing so will cause the entire building to go on lockdown, and Deviants will start chasing after you. An AOE weapon like theOnce Human’sFrozen Northern Pikeis great for fighting in tight spaces like this. Once you arrive at the second floor, arrows will point you toa quarantined section of the building, but it will be locked. To open the door, look for a keycard on one of the long tables on the second floor.
Grab the keycard, open the door, and get rid of the Deviants inside. Open the Mystical Crate to get the Stun Baton fragments, and either teleport back home or explore the rest of the Stronghold. The museum quarantine will only lift once all Deviants inside are dead, though you could always escape via the elevator in the Mystical Crate room.
