Hollow Knight: Silksong Might Have Revealed Itself Too Soon
WhereasGhost of Tsushima 2has yet to even show one iota of itself since the launch of its predecessor four years ago,Hollow Knight: Silksongwas announced five years ago. In fact, not only was it announced, but it was announced via a fairly extensive gameplay trailer that outlines everything fans can expect to see in it. Of course, its announcement happened in 2019, and it’s likely the developer hit a pretty big speed bump when the COVID-19 pandemic came sweeping through in 2020. That being said, it has now even been four years since then, and with what was shown in the announcementtrailer forHollow Knight: Silksong, it seemed like it was at least close to being finished in 2019.
UnlikeGhost of Tsushima 2,Hollow Knight: Silksonghooked its fans a long time ago with a full reveal. However, rather than reeling them in, it has simply allowed them to dangle on the line helplessly, all while they continue to lose hope that the game will even happen. On the other hand,Ghost of Tsushima 2has remained hidden. Nevertheless, both games need to make a move soon, if not just to put what may be two excellent titles on the market.
