A cleverOverwatch 2fan has come up with a unique skin concept for the new hero Juno, this time inspired by Shadow the Hedgehog. Juno, the latest support hero inOverwatch 2, was unveiled earlier this month and given a live trial weekend for fans to get familiar with the space ranger’s kit. Since her reveal, severalfans of the game have conjured up some interesting skin ideas for the hero, including one inspired byFallout’s Nuka-Girl, and another that turns Juno into an actual alien.
Sega has dubbed 2024 the “Year of Shadow” as a way to celebrate the beloved antihero and his appearances in several upcomingSonicprojects. Most notable isSonic X Shadow Generations, a dual-game collection containing aremaster of 2011’sSonic Generationsand the all-newShadow Generations, which is set to land on October 22. Two months later, Shadow will make his big screen appearance in the third installment of the successfulSonic the Hedgehogfilm franchise, where he’ll be brought to life by the voice of beloved Hollywood star Keanu Reeves.
In anticipation forJuno’s debut inOverwatch 2, Reddit user Onframer posted their idea for a Shadow the Hedgehog-inspired Juno skin. The incredible concept features Shadow’s black and red colors, as well as the franchise’s classic golden rings and green emeralds on Juno’s wrists and gun. The design even includes Shadow’s iconic white Air Shoes that allow him to glide, which likely served as the main inspiration for the idea, as Juno’s space ranger boots also allow her to glide and hover in the air.

Juno is set to make her debut inOverwatch 2alongside the launch of Season 12 on August 27, though details about the season’s new maps or modes have yet to be unveiled. As for Shadow the Hedgehog fans, there’s a lot to look forward to later in the year whenSonic X Shadow Generationsand theSonic the Hedgehog 3film are released in October and December, respectively.
