Somemounts are easier to get than others, while others can take time to acquire. So for players looking to add some more variety to their mount collection, here is how you can obtain the Reins of the Llothien Prowler.

How to Get the Llothien Prowler

This mount can only be obtained by completing a small series of quests in the Broken Isles. To start, you will want to verify you havereached Friendly reputationwith all factions in the Broken Isles and complete the quest “Uniting the Isles” to unlock World Quests if you haven’t done so already. From there, you will need to have completed the “Nightfallen But Not Forgotten” achievement, as this will unlock more World Quests in Suramar.

After you have managed to unlock all of that, you will need to keep an eye on which three Emissaries are active in the Broken Isles. Wait for when one of the Emissaries is the Nightfallen. Next,complete four World Quests in Suramar and then speak with First Arcanist Thalyssra in Shal’Aran. As a reward,she will give you a Nightfallen Hoard. This item holds a variety of old rewards, including a small chance ofreceiving Torn Invitation, which starts the quest A “Noble” Event.

The droprate for Torn Invitation is low, so it may take a while to obtain it. It also has a small chance of dropping from the Glimmering Treasure Chest at the end of Withered Training. So if the Nightfallen Emissary isn’t active, spend 400 Ancient Mana to begin Withered Training. At Level 70, Withered Training is very easy and can easily be completed with a score of 400+.

After starting A “Noble” Event, your next objective will be to complete fourOrder Hall missionsto get more information about the upcoming fox hunt. The four missions are “On the Hunt”, “Securing an Invitation”, “All Dressed Up”, and “Just in Time”. These passive missions will be completed after 12 hours, and if your Champions are well-equipped, you’ll have no trouble having over a 100% success rate.

Don’t worry if you fail a mission, as you can always repeat it.

When all four missions have been completed, there will be an NPC in your Order Hall that you may turn in the quest with. At that point, you will get the second quest “Volpin the Elusive”. Open your map and head to the location which is near the border of Suramar and Val’sharah.

Upon arriving, kill Herald Gevedaun. Doing so will update your map with an area you will need to search. Volpin blends into the environment easily, so it can be difficult to spot him. Head to the location depicted in the image above. When facing Volpin, you will see some ruins next to a nearby tree. Depending on your graphics settings, you may also seeDalaran off in the distance. Once you are close enough to Volpin, three Nightborne Fox Hunters will spawn. Kill them and then right click on Volpin to calm him down. Use the auto-turn in for the quest and you will receive the Reins of the Llothien Prowler.
