On July 23,World of Warcraftreleased its Pre-Expansion Update forThe War Within. This exciting patch added a bunch of content from the upcoming expansion pack, including class changes, new quality-of-life improvements, and the expansive Warbands system. A week later, it kicked off the Radiant Echoes Pre-Patch event, which has players battle memories of iconicWorld of Warcraftbosses in order to buy special mounts, pets, and transmogs.
Now,World of Warcraftis holding a special event that will let fans enjoy the new patch even if they aren’t an active player. From now until the morning of August 5, fans who previously had an active subscription toWorld of Warcraftcan log into the game and play anything in the game right now, includingcontent from theWoW: The War Within Pre-Patch, even if they don’t ownDragonflight. Until the cutoff period, players can enjoy everything in modernWorld of Warcraftwith no other limitations, thoughWoW Classicis not included in this event.
