Fire Extinguisher From Demon Fall Canyon
The Miniaturized Fire Extinguisher is a brand-new item inSeason of Discoverythat is exclusive to thebrand-new dungeon Demon Fall Canyon. This Trinket can be equipped for a flat passive +20 Fire Resistance, and when activated, it will instantly purge the wearer of all Fire magic effects.
This item has a two-minute-long cooldown, but its passive Fire Resist boost will carry you between uses. And because it’s a Trinket, it can be used by any class with no restrictions, though its one downside is that it offers no strict combat bonuses.
Hydraxian Cloak Enchant
After reaching Honored with the Hydraxian Waterlords, a faction that can be unlocked on an island in Azshara or via Blackrock Eruptions, you gain access to a special item. The Hydraxian Coronation item costs 10g to purchase from Duke Hydraxis, once you have farmed enough Hydraxian Waterlords rep.
This item grants a flat +20 Fire Resistance to a Cloak, and you can’t really do much better for just 10g.
It’s relatively easy to gain reputation with the Hydraxian Waterlords by completing the Duke Hydraxis questline and by doing yourBlackrock Eruption dailies in the Searing Gorge. If you finish the questline, and do Blackrock Eruption dailies for around a week, you will bring your Hydraxian Waterlords rep up to Honored to be able to purchase this item.
Increasing your reputation further with the Hydraxian Waterlords grants access to more incredibly useful Fire Resist gear for Molten Core, so be sure to continue Blackrock dailies and farm mobs that grant Hydraxian rep.
Royal Seal of Eldre’Thalas
The Royal Seal of Eldre’Thalas is a Ring that can only be obtained by completing aquestline within Dire Maul West. This Ring is no ordinary Ring, though. In fact, every class unlocks a different version of the Royal Seal of Eldre’Thalas that grants both +10 Fire Resistance and a class-tailored bonus.
For example, the Rogue version increases Fire Resistance grants +2% Hit Chance, a really important stat for the class, while Mages get Mana Restoration and Fire Resistance, Hunters get Ranged AP, and Priests get a Healing bonus.
To get this item, each class must find a specific Book within Dire Maul (or just purchase it off of the Auction House). Read the book to get a quest, and return the book to the appropriate Lorekeeper within Dire Maul. Completing the quest grants your class' version of this Royal Seal.
