Summary
2024 hasn’t been the best year forXbox Game Pass, but it’s far from the worst. Every month, at least one day-one release has been added toXbox Game Pass, and while some of these games have been a tad disappointing, a good handful have been more than worth the subscription’s price tag. This August has had some pretty nice first-party support, withCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogybeing the latest Activision game to land on the service, and that support looks like it’ll only ramp up in September.
There are five games currently confirmed forXbox Game Pass' September 2024 line-up. Three of these –Age of Mythology: Retold,Frostpunk 2, andAra: History Untold– are all day-one launches for Xbox Game Pass, meaning that strategy fans have a busy month ahead of them. But while that line-up is strong, Game Pass could always use a few more heavy hitters, and September has plenty of releases that would fit perfectly in the service’s library.

InSpace Marine 2, players take on the role of a titular super-soldier as they carve their way through hordes of Terminids and other Xenos threats. Along with a fully-fledged 12-hour campaign,Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2will ship with an extensive co-op PvE mode, and a swathe of PvP modes, all of which feature customization and loadout systems. There’s virtually no chance of it happening, but it would be amazing to seeSpace Marine 2come to Xbox Game Pass this coming month.

Something that fans have wanted for quite some time,Dead Rising Deluxe Remastertakes the 2006 zombie-slaughtering classic and gives it a fresh coat of paint, some new gameplay mechanics, and plenty of additional bells and whistles. Though it’s another unlikely get for Game Pass,Dead Rising Deluxe Remasterwould be a great pull for the subscription service this September.
