However, Cavill’s cameo in the latest MCU entrant became one of the hottest discussion points and initiated a massive debate. InDeadpool & Wolverine, Cavill played one of the variants of Wolverine, originally played by Hugh Jackman. Since then, there have been talks about how the actor could join the MCU. Now, Snyder, who brought in Cavill as Superman in the DCEU, has weighed in on the actor’s surprise appearance in the aforementioned Marvel project.

Sounds fun.“However, the filmmaker shared a cryptic response when he was asked about Deadpool’s comments on Marvel treating Cavill better than DC. He added, “Well, Henry is an amazing Superman to me, obviously. I hired him. I wanted him to be Superman. So any coins left on the table are unfortunate, and in that way, it would be great to have more Henry. I always think you could have more Henry.” Even though Snyder said that they could always have more of Cavill, DC has already moved in a new direction and introduced a new Superman in David Corenswet.
InDeadpool & Wolverine, Wade Wilson plans to find Wolverine and save his timeline. He goes from one timeline to the other in search of Logan and encounters Cavill’s variant who seems to be working on his motorcycle. A question arises whether Henry Cavill’s cameo inDeadpool & Wolverinemight pave the way for him to be cast as the iconic X-Men character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although it’s unlikely that Cavill will be portraying Wolverine, having him in the MCU might turn out to be a game-changer. The actor’s strong screen presence, mixed with his proven ability to bring iconic characters to life, would make him a perfect fit for the legendaryX-Mencharacter. His physicality and dedication to embodying his roles would ensure a portrayal that captures the character’s raw strength and emotional depth. Moreover, he has become one of the most popular stars in the world and established a fanbase that could become a pivotal part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, drawing in new audiences and providing something fresh to long-time fans. As of now, nothing has been finalized yet, but the idea of having Cavill in the MCU is certainly titillating.
