Zenless Zone Zerohas an ample amount of things to do. Just when you think it doesn’t get any better, the game gives you the chance to adopt a cat namedInky. Inky is one of the first cats players encounter during the game, and over the course of time, players will also come to raise their trust rank with him.
Trust Rank works like friendship points, and it’s mainly available for characters that players own. Inky isZenless Zone Zero’s very own exception. Once you find him, make sure to use the correct answers to each of these prompts so that you’re able to raise his trust and eventually adopt him into your family.
Where to Find Inky In ZZZ
Inky can only be found inlocations around Sixth Street.Players will have to continuously increase their Inter-Knot level when trying to unlock all locations. This has not been officially confirmed yet, but for some players, Inky mostly shows up during the evening, so make sure to keep an eye out when you’re on Sixth Street at this time of day. Familiar Trust Rank
During the first few stages of interacting with Inky, he will be very cautious of you. The only thing you can do here issimply observe from a distance.
Do not by any means pet or touch Inky at this time, because he will get scared and that will not improve your Trust Rank at all.
You can find him in any of the above locations.Whenprompted to keep your distance, always choose that option. This will last abouthalfwayinto your Trust Rank until you get the option to feed Inky.
Friendly Trust Rank
Once Inky has become used to your presence,you now have a chance to either feed or pet him. The tricky part here is that the best choice depends on the dialogue you are presented with. If you pet Inky when he just wants to be fed, it will result in a trust decrease, so you’ll need to keep an eye on this when you reach that stage.
Players should note that they will need tostock up on some cat food fromthe 141 Convenience Store. Not having any cat food doesn’t result in a trust decrease, but it does cause the event to fail. This means you’ll have to wait for another opportunity to meet Inky.

Once you hit this trust rank, you’ll then begin to see Inky around other cats in the neighbourhood. This is the best Trust Event for Inky because it gives you a chance to significantly increase his trust.
Feed the little black cat.
Significant Increase
Choosing to “Feed the little black cat”is the best, because it shows Inky that you favur him above all the other cats. When that option pops up, make sure to choose it.
Close Trust Rank
Now that your bond with Inky has deepened, you have more options to choose from. Since this is only available at Close Rank, make sure to keep an eye on his greetings, which are slightly similar to the ones at Friendly Rank.

Additionally, once you’re at this stage, Inky will alsowant to play a game of hide-and-seek with you. Always choose to play with Inky, because that will increase your Trust Level. When playing Hide and Seek, Inky can be found in one of the following locations:
Thankfully, the game does help you out by telling you if the area you’re in doesn’t have Inky. On top of that, it lets you know when you’re close, making it easier.
Inky’s Trust Rank Up Commissions
Spending Time With Inky
This is thefirst trust commissionwith Inky and Soldier 11. Soldier 11 will appear nearby when this mission is available, so keep an eye out for her as this is the first event that helps you establish Trust Rank 1 with Inky. Choosing the option “I agree” gives players additional trust with Soldier 11.
Inky’s Request
For the second Rank Up commission, Soldier 11 will once again appear near Inky. You can find them down the backstreet near the dumpster. You can search theareafrom Evening to Midnightand they should pop up. All the dialogue choices you make in Inky’s Request don’t matter, since they all increase trust.
Keep in mind that players will have to unlock the Main Story Chapter 3 Intermission Reverberations to get Inky’s Request.

Find Jonah and Roy in front of 141 Convenience Store and interact with them. Afterward, you can purchase food from the cat store, which you can use to help youraise your Friendly Rankwith Inky. Once you’ve bought all the food, remember tofind Inky at Midnight and feed him. This is also your opportunity to stock up on cat food. Whenever the need arises, feed Inky anytime the dialogue persists.
Eat Up, Inky
Much like the previous Trust Rank Commissions,Soldier 11 will once again turn upwith Inky for this third one. The event will happen during theEveningnear the dumpster where Inky’s Request was triggered.
A Date With A Black Cat
This is the fourth and final Trust Rank Commission for Inky. Soldier 11 will be with Inky behind the 141 Convenience Store sometime betweenEvening and Midnight. Upon completion, you’ll receive the “I Have Lots Of Friends'' Achievement, and you will be able to adopt Inky into your home.
How To Adopt Inky In ZZZ
Once you have completed all the Trust Rank Commissions and the necessary prerequisites listed below, only then can you adopt Inky into your home:
